Harry Blackstone Sr.  -  A Radio Tribute.
I had the immense pleasure of meeting Harry Blackstone Jr. shortly before his untimely passing, and seeing him perform several times. He carried the torch of magic, and human kindness further than any performer I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. It seems fitting, therefore to begin these magic audio archives with another Blackstone original. These old audio recordings from the 1940’s were a tribute to Harry Blackstone Sr. even then. They not only are WONDERFULLY entertaining, but the effects they discuss and teach are clever as well. In these performances (and many others we have all seen) the Blackstone family continues to live on as the legends they have earned. It is my understanding that Bellamie Blackstone (now 17) may carry on the Blackstone tradition after college? Could another generation of Blackstone magic be on its way?
